  • Storied Past, Bright Future: The Story of Ibberson

Jasson Noel got his start in the food and beverage industry the day he was born. Now, backed by a lifetime of experience, he’s a jack-of-all-trades helping Ibberson clients achieve their most important strategic goals.

Growing up on a grain farm in the Midwest, Noel saw firsthand what it takes to produce quality agricultural products and began his love of engineering by working on farming equipment. He watched his father not only work the fields, but also handle all of the accounting, contracts and other business-related activities needed to maintain the operation.

From these experiences, Noel learned how important it is to understand a business from every angle if you want to be successful. He made it his mission to learn everything he could about the intersection of the food and beverage, engineering and construction industries so that he could carve out a career as his own one-man army.

When it came time for college, Noel left his family farm for Kansas State, graduating with degrees in milling science operations and agricultural economics. He cut his teeth in operations, spending five years running manufacturing facilities for some of the food and beverage industry’s biggest players.

Throughout his career, Noel has spent time engaged in operations, sales, safety, budgeting, capital projects, repairs, process engineering and other aspects of food and beverage manufacturing. He also worked for major construction and engineering firms, fulfilling his desire to become a true jack-of-all-trades within this unique space.

Now serving as senior project director at Ibberson, Noel uses his wide range of skills and experiences to help clients work through their biggest challenges.

“It’s easy for me to put myself in someone else’s shoes,” Noel said. “When you feel their pain and their daily struggles, their challenges and the environment they’re working in, you can relate to those people.”

Noel says he’s excited by all the recent growth in the industry, with many companies looking to build manufacturing facilities as quickly as they can. He understands better than most the enormous challenge these major projects represent, and feels most at home as a problem solver working on the front lines to move projects forward.

“I love being in front of the client,” Noel said. “I love to master plan and come up with ideas and help solve problems.”

Noel says his diverse skill set actually mirrors the way Ibberson works, providing comprehensive design-build solutions to deliver outstanding projects from end to end. Just as Noel is his own one-stop shop of expertise, he says Ibberson can be the same kind of comprehensive partner for major design-build projects.

“What our clients really need is one team that they can leverage to get this thing done,” Noel said. “They don’t want to call 10 people, they want to call one.”

With his diverse background and relentless drive to help clients succeed, Noel is uniquely positioned to take that call.

Want to put Jasson Noel’s expertise to work for you? Contact Ibberson today to see how our team of experts can deliver exceptional design-build solutions for your food and beverage business.
