Ibberson provided design and construction of a 150-foot tall raw material storage silo and rail receiving tunnel at Pilkington North America’s Ottawa, Illinois facility.
The work included design and construction of slip formed raw material storage silos, its internal mixer, scale, sloped bin bottom and bin top floors along with the receiving tunnel and building slab. Transfer tower foundations were poured to support the materials return to the main furnace line.
