Ibberson was responsible for facility design, detail engineering and construction of this turnkey facility.
This design-build project consisted of modifications to an existing warehouse, new pre-engineered metal bulk ingredient receiving and connecting buildings, slipformed concrete processing tower, equipment installation, electrical and mechanical installations, new utility services, and finish site work.
The construction schedule, with mobilization on April 3 and the beginning of start-up on September 28 of the same year, was the biggest challenge for the project team. The owner’s representatives, vendors and subcontractors worked closely with Ibberson to meet the deadline.
