Ethanol Pilot Plant - McCook, Neb.
CLIENT
S.W. Energy, LLC
The McCook, Nebraska, project was the first complete ethanol plant built by Ibberson. Fast-track construction was implemented to qualify S.W. Energy, LLC for state incentives.
In 128 days, this project went from owner’s proposal to 8,219 gallons of ethanol produced. Where a wheat field stood, a fully operational 168,000 gallon-per-year ethanol production facility arose in just 42 days.
This feat was accomplished not only through swift on-site construction, but forward-thinking, coordination, and planning with all parties ranging from the government officials of Nebraska, to the on-site labor to the equipment suppliers.
Not only were the appropriate gallons produced to qualify S.W. Energy, LLC for the state incentives, but they were produced under the rules of the agreement and in line with all required permits and building and environmental codes.
