This EPC contract project is located just across the river from St. Louis, Missouri, in Sauget, Illinois. Construction began in October, 2006 and mechanical completion was achieved in March, 2008. The plant is currently operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 350 days per year and producing 54 million gallons of ethanol per year with future capacity to expand to 108 million gallons per year.
The McCook, Nebraska, project was the first complete ethanol plant built by Ibberson. Fast-track construction was implemented to qualify S.W. Energy, LLC for state incentives.
