Ibberson provided engineering and construction management services for the petfood manufacturing plant.
The plant included a slipformed batching tower and a slipformed final process and packaging tower. The towers were some of the first concrete slipformed process towers constructed in Mexico. The warehouse was constructed of precast concrete and the majority of the remaining facility was plastered masonry. The facility was designed with equipment and building details to meet near food grade sanitary conditions.
The extruded petfood process of the new facility was designed to allow continuous use of the existing facility while the start-up phase of the new facility took place.
Working closely with the owner’s representative, subcontractors and local engineers, Ibberson helped make the project a major success.
