Ibberson was contracted by Perfect Companion Group Co., Ltd. (A Charoen Pokphand Group Co., LTD) to design and engineer an additional petfood extrusion line for its petfood plant in Bangkok, Thailand.
In addition to engineering, the work included procurement, expediting and shipping of the process equipment and steel bins.
The project included replacing an existing batching scale and mixer and installing a new fine grinding system, secondary mixer system, extruder system, dryer cooler, screener, liquid coater system, after cooler, finished product storage bins, large packaging line, small bag packaging line and controls. Ibberson provided a mechanical supervisor to support the mechanical installation. Commissioning and start-up was supervised by Ibberson.
The work was completed on schedule without shutdowns, other than several long weekends. Upon completion of this project, Ibberson was awarded Phase II of the project, which is to design and procure equipment for a new batch ingredient tower and equine food processing facility.
