Ibberson built this new dry petfood plant. To date, the company had only been involved in cold packaging of pet food products. The new facility advanced the capacity of the company to produce dry pet food, opening up a new market for the company’s expanding business.
The facility features a concrete slipform mill tower, a warehouse, a receiving building and a mechanical building. Ibberson provided the engineering, construction and start-up services.
One challenge met was the attachment of the new construction to the existing warehouse and office structure while continuing operations during the construction phase. Coordination and planning between the owner and Ibberson ensured the success of this project.
