Ibberson was given the challenge of totally replacing or relocating the packaging system and empty-can conveying system at this facility without interrupting around-the-clock production. In addition to the rigors of working in an operating plant, the construction team was required to maintain an exemplary level of safety and sanitation.
Nutro Lebanon Petfood Facility
Lebanon, Tenn.
Ibberson was awarded the contract for a premium new dog and cat food facility that was a highly confidential project at the time it was conceived and built. The extruded, dry pet food process was designed jointly by Nutro and Ibberson. The facility itself was designed and constructed by Ibberson.
Nutro Victorville Petfood Facility
Victorville, Calif.
The project involved building a 382,000-square-foot premium pet food
manufacturing facility to replace an aging plant. Ibberson was selected
as the design-build contractor based on positive experiences from an
earlier project.
Agway Petfood Plant
St. Marys, Ohio
The $5 million petfood facility concept was formulated by the design team from T.E. lbberson Company (Ibberson) and the engineers from the Country Foods Division of Agway. The concept was then turned over to Ibberson's engineers and construction personnel who carefully worked through all stages of engineering, construction and start-up.
Conventional and Organic Custom Petfood Feed Mill Expansion
Bern, Kan.
Ibberson was awarded the contract for the batch system expansion and conversion center addition at an operating conventional and organic custom petfood feed mill. The expansion significantly increased the mill’s capacity to combine and weigh ingredients prior to mixing. The conversion center addition allowed the bulk material to be packaged in 1-ton tote bags.
Dry Petfood Plant
Frontenac, Kan.
Ibberson built this new dry petfood plant. To date, the company had only been involved in cold packaging of pet food products. The new facility advanced the capacity of the company to produce dry pet food, opening up a new market for the company’s expanding business.
Petfood Plant Addition
Bangkok, Thailand
Ibberson was contracted by Perfect Companion Group Co., Ltd. (A Charoen Pokphand Group Co., LTD) to design and engineer an additional petfood extrusion line for its petfood plant in Bangkok, Thailand.
Purina Cuautitlan Petfood Plant
Cuautitlan, Mexico
Ibberson provided engineering and construction management services for the petfood manufacturing plant.
